I'm looking for a way to create a custom Free Symbol. I'd like to have a Rectangle symbol with some pre-defined formatting that will be used frequently in our environment. Rather than draw a standard rectangle and then apply the formatting each time, it would be great if it was a pre-defined free symbol.
Following the Help guide, I was able to create a custom metaclass through an extension. This was close, however it shows up as an object in the Object Browser every time you create one. Free Symbols (like a rectangle) don't show up as objects.
Is this possible? (Screenshot mockup below)
